How it works

Event Listings & Bulletin Board items are published each Wednesday on a space-available basis. We try to include all suitable items, but we cannot guarantee that every submission will be published.

Using the information you provide, we will write a short description of your event. Please include as much detail as possible.

Submission Deadline

Deadline: Thursday the week before publication

Example: Submit by Jan 5 for the Jan 11 paper

We may have questions — please include your contact information so we know who to call.


When will my item be published?

We try to run your item as soon as we receive it, but when space is tight, we give priority to events taking place closest to publication day.


Why can't my item start running weeks in advance?

Because of limited space, we give priority to events taking place nearest the publication date.


What if the event info changes?

Send an email to In the Subject Line, write UPDATE in all caps. If it's important (a time change or cancellation,) also call Elizabeth Hauser at 512-930-4824. Change Deadline is 10 a. m. Monday before publication.
